Sadly I’ve lost the original link for the image of the whales but I used it as kind of inspiration as I was making this hat. I adore this hat. I had a very hard time giving it away at Christmas. I extended the brim than the pattern called for since I knew the repentant would want to fold the brim up. This yarn is also what I call an Unloved Skein. What is an Unloved Skein you say? Well its a skein that hasn’t been used but returned for one reason or another to my work and we have to re-hank them from balls into skeins so customers are interested in buying them. We do this all the time but sometimes I feel the need to buy the yarn especially this one since it was Madelinetosh and the color Mare. Just beautiful.

love this hat! it turned out so beautiful, and so very very soft!
me too. I really love it. I have half a skein of this yarn I’m debating on remaking it for myself…but I’m worried there isn’t enough :/
Hi there. I’m on the lookout for possible projects when I become a passable knitter. The pattern you linked to is a lace garter?
Hi. I did link a lace garter a few days ago. If you haven’t already you should join Ravelry.com. It changed everything for me as far as my knitting is concerned.
I did join Ravelry a few days ago, but I’m at least weeks away from being able to use it! Still, I’m daydreaming about what I may be able to achieve in the future.
The chunkanie link above links to a lace garter.
ok cool thanks! I’ll fix it.
I never knew you could embed spotify links before!
Always learning something new
Plus that hat is darling.
Yeah it’s pretty great. I stopped linking YouTube because I feel the video sometimes has really nothing to do with what I’m talking about.
